Friday Night Football in the Capital. The Ottawa Redblacks started the 2016 season on the road for the first two games where they beat the Edmonton Eskimos and Montreal Alouettes. Week 3 of the CFL season has Ottawa at home for their Home Opener to face the Calgary Stampeders. The Redblacks have not lost a home opener and are looking to keep this streak alive. The sold out stadium at TD Place had the more than 24,600 fans on their seat most of the game but in the end they were all left with mixed emotions for the first time since 2009 a CFL football game ended in a tie 26-26. The players and coaches as well as the fans will likely dwell and talk about the multiple missed opportunities that could have sealed the win. The Redblacks are currently the only undefeated team in the CFL after week 3 posting a record of 2-0-1.
